Meet the Team

  • Founder & CEO

Tim Riddle is the founder and CEO of Discover Blind Spots. The company started with an idea. This idea led to a book, which became a successful business. With prior experience in the business/marketing world, Tim is passionate about helping clients communicate effectively. He believes great communication is the foundation for building great relationships.

Although Tim is the Founder and CEO, he wears several hats. Tim works closely with our clients daily, spending most of his days communicating and creating new and effective ways to help clients strengthen their businesses. As a Keap Certified Partner, Tim also leads the technical aspect of the business. He creates content for videos, emails for clients, and marketing campaigns tailored to each specific client we serve. In addition, Tim is a Tiny Habits Certified Coach, Maxwell Leadership Certified coach and speaker, and a DISC Certified Consultant, all of which he uses in his work with clients. Tim is also a writer, and his new book, Communicate or Else, A New Perspective on Marketing for Financial Advisors, is scheduled to release in October 2023.

Tim resides in Burlington, NC, with his wife, Stacy. Tim and Stacy have four children and two grandchildren. Tim’s love for his family bleeds into every part of the business, and he has created a company focusing on four core values: Highly Responsive, Incredibly Kind, Overly Generous, and Pursuing Excellence.

  • Meet Fletcher Riddle. Fletcher is Tim Riddle’s son. He watched his father build this company from the ground up and has been there from the start. Fletcher graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a degree in Business and a double minor in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. As soon as he graduated, he joined the Discover Blind Spots team.

Fletcher, like his father, loves interacting with people. Although he’s usually the one behind the camera making sure he gets the perfect shot, he also enjoys the opportunity to build relationships with our clients. Fletcher spends most of his time editing and perfecting videos for our clients. He uses this strength to provide content that is unique to each client we serve.

Outside of work, Fletcher enjoys spending time with his wife, Selena, and their two dogs, Bailey and Boulder. He also loves playing disc golf, riding his bike, and going on runs in his free time.

  • Meet Carly Riddle. Carly joined the Discover Blind Spots team in the summer of 2021. Carly graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Sociology. She moved to Charlotte in 2016 where she started her teaching career. While teaching, Carly received her master’s degree in education in Literacy from Queens University at Charlotte. Carly taught at the same school in Charlotte for five consecutive years. She taught fourth grade, third grade, and kindergarten. After five years in public education, Carly felt the call to step out of her comfort zone and try something new.

When Tim asked Carly to join the family business, she knew that was the right decision to make. Carly helps run the day-to-day operations of the company. She is in constant communication with clients, sets up email/video campaigns, and helps with other miscellaneous tasks. Carly’s attention to detail and effective time management skills have proven to be a huge asset to the Discover Blind Spots team.

Carly works remotely in Charlotte, NC. Outside of work, she loves to read her Kindle, go on walks, and spend time with her family, friends, and church community.

  • David joined the Discover Blind Spots team in 2023. He is a talented videographer and photographer and will most likely first meet you with a camera in his hands. David is all things creative looking for just the right shot to help our clients use their image and voice to share with their audience. He approaches ever project as if it is the most critical piece he has ever worked on.

David is a musician, artist, and a lover of guitar pedals. When he edits videos, he often has the Office playing in the background.

David lives in Durham, NC with his wife and six beautiful children. He is also the founder of Dwalt Media, a video production company.

  • Leslie joined the Discover Blind Spots team in 2019 as a video editor. Leslie graduated from UNCC in 2018 and has a degree in Criminal Justice. After college she started her own wedding videography business, which she does part time in addition to being on our team.

Leslie has a passion for videography and photography and loves when she can use her gifts to bring others joy. It’s always her goal to create the best content possible for each client.

When she’s not working, Leslie enjoys spending time with friends and family, flying, hiking with her dogs, and traveling.

  • Selena is the better half of Fletcher. They met in college in 2016 and married in July 2020. In 2021, Selena joined the Discover Blind Spots team to help organize/review videos for our clients, as well as to help Fletcher manage our video team.

Beyond her career, Selena is deeply passionate about acting and is dedicated to pursuing her dreams alongside her role with DBS. Fletcher and Selena have two dogs, Bailey and Boulder, who they love spending time with and taking on walks. Selena also enjoys practicing yoga and visiting her family in Tennessee.

Communicate or Else is an invaluable tool for financial advisers who want to attract new clients (and keep their current clients happy) without compromising their own style and values. Tim understands that getting a ton of prospect calls is meaningless (and a waste of precious time) if the prospects aren’t a good fit for your practice.
